An eclectic collaboration of two of our popular, beloved wraps resulted in the versatile Padma-Antara Reversible Meh Dai. Flip to suit your mood/style/choice every time you babywear! The double-sided wrap-converted body panel is beautifully complemented by the bright orange handwoven cotton waist and shoulder straps. This makes it a semi wrap-converted Meh Dai.
Lilting and melodious like its name, Antara is a unique blend of perfectly harmonious colors. A medium-weight wrap with a rhythmic, compact weave, this one is a keeper! It is buttery soft and cushy enough to be used with a newborn, at the same time grippy and sturdy, making it extremely toddler-worthy too.
Celestial symbolisms of rebirth associated with the Lotus make it the perfect motif for a baby carrier, which in itself is a symbol of the reborn strength of the caregiver. Bring home this divinity with the Padma Semi Wrap-Converted Meh Dai.
The Jacquard woven wrap used here, is made from superior quality 100% cotton yarns, dyed using child-friendly dyes, lovingly custom-designed and woven to medium thickness – especially suited for babywearing. Being extremely breathable, this wrap is perfect for tropical and humid climates.
The wrap is woven with love in India, by craftsmen who have been in the tradition of hand-weaving for hundreds of years. It has been woven with no child labor at any stage, and to encourage the dying art of hand-weaving in India. Each wrap has its share of natural nubs and slubs, which is a typical feature of hand woven fabrics. This in no way affects the functionality of the product.
A midway carrier, with the fluidity of a wrap and the ease of wearing of the Soft Structured Carrier (SSC) is the Meh Dai. It is structured like the SSC, but instead of the buckles, it has long fabric straps for adjustment. The Meh Dai can be used for front, back and hip carries, and is reversible. It has padded shoulders for comfortable spread of weight. The waistband is unpadded. One size fits all sizes and builds of caregivers, and can be used for your child from 1 month onwards, all the way until toddlerhood and beyond! The wrap straps can be spread across the back creating a larger surface area for supporting and distributing baby and toddler's weight and are a favourite due to the high-quality handwoven wrap fabrics that allow for strength and snuggles!
